DEMOLITION DAY: Ogden IGA Building Meets Wrecking Ball

DEMOLITION DAY: Ogden IGA Building Meets Wrecking Ball

Demolition day has finally arrived. For decades, the old IGA building located at 24th and Monroe Blvd. has sat vacant and empty. While Rite Aide occupied the eastern section of the structure with a sweetheart lease, the vast remaining portion has haunted the lot as wasted space.

Recently, the property was acquired and prepared in anticipation of future development at the site. The area is slated for mixed used development with a combination of residential and commercial spaces. When finished the development will be enormous is size as the land assembled comprises nearly an entire city block.

Brighter days are ahead for Ogden!
