We just closed on the sale of duplex property located at 117 N. Adams Ave. in Ogden. The building was listed on June 17th for $210,000. It comprises two side-by-side units constructed in 1956. The structure is situated on a hill overlooking the neighborhood. Our client was using cash to purchase this property and made an offer of $200,000. However, our inspections revealed a serious sewer line problem at the site. Our client felt equipped to handle the problem and make the necessary repairs. So we renegotiated the price to $195,000, which the seller accepted, and closed several days later. In addition to helping our client make this purchase, we are also excited to be handling property management services for our client moving forward.
