OGDEN RISING: Cache Valley Bank Prepares for Renovation of Historic Wells Fargo Building

In what may be a strange twist of irony, Logan-based Cache Valley Bank has purchased and plans to renovate the historic 12-story Wells Fargo building located at the corner of 24th St. and Washington Blvd. in Ogden. The Wells Fargo building went vacant in 2006 and has since changed hands several times as one investment group after another was unable to muster the courage and/or financing to bring a restoration project to fruition.

Fortunately, Cache Valley Bank has the funds and experience to do the job. Two years ago, Cache Valley Bank purchased another nicely appointed Wells Fargo building in Provo and renovated that building.

We look forward to Ogden’s largest landmark being given a second lease on life.
