The real estate market surge even higher in August with property values increasing an whopping 17.5% year over year and increasing at a white hot 2.1% month over month pace. Sales volumes were up over 5% and it only took homes on the market 9 days to go under contract on average. This is a very strong monthly report. Utah’s unemployment rate is below 5% already which translates into a labor shortage again.
