MARKET STATS: April 2026

The stats are in and the market appears to be blossoming with the Spring. Year over Year prices are down just shy of 3% from last year while compared to last month they are up 2%. This jives with the the chop in house prices that has been characteristic of the past year.
Meanwhile, days on market is at 40 days. This isn’t surprising given the time of year. But what is surprising is the 19% increase in sales volume from last year…until you consider that last year at this time everyone in Weber County was being DOGE’d. That took the wind out of the sails/sales (see what I did there) which makes this year’s numbers look dramatically better by comparison.
