RENTAL REHAB: Worst to First
Published On: February 12, 2019 Posted by: Jeremy Peterson
We recently completed the renovation of a fallow rental unit that had sat vacant for many years in Ogden. The unit appears to have experienced water damage from a fire that occurred in the building many years ago. The ceiling collapsed and this studio unit was forgotten.
However, in the real estate business, nothing is more contrary to the laws of nature than vacant and unused space. Every space should be used for its highest and best purpose. So, when faced by this challenge, we got to work making things right. Here are the before and after pictures.

The renovation included updating the bathroom with mosaic tile floors and subway tile tub surround. We also installed new sink and toilet. The kitchen was completely updated with new cabinets, granite counter tops and new appliances. We are proud of the work our team did to bring this rental unit back online and into productivity.
