JUST SOLD! Historic Willard School House

We just closed on the sale of this home for buyers we have been working with over the past several weeks. This home located at 1630 N. Main St. in Willard was a former meeting hall and school house that has been converted into residential use. The structure was constructed in 1909 and consists of a main hall with accessory rooms build off the north and south ends. It sits on a half acre lot. There is also a sizable basement in the building. We tendered an offer of $$328,000 which was accepted.
Prior to our clients purchasing the home, it has suffered some serious neglect. Several years ago the home sold in its dilapidated condition.
Fortunately, there isn’t too much paint on those stain grade casings and our clients plan to fix up and restore the building so that it will shine for years to come.
