We just closed on the sale of this fully renovated cottage located on Ogden’s East Bench.  The home is located at 2202 Taylor Ave. and experienced a top-to-bottom remodel. We originally listed the property for sale on December 8th for $264,900.  The sellers were aggressive in their list price and wanted to test the market.  After a week of quiet, we dropped the price $15,000 to $249,900.  At this new price point we began to get regular showings. BAMBOOZLED: A Tenant’s Web of Deception

We recently leased one of our properties to a family in Ogden.  At the time we received their application, everything seemed normal.  Their income verification checked out.  They received a good reference from a previous landlord in a newer neighborhood in Harrisville.  Their credit was choppy due to medical issues but was otherwise par for what we see with most tenants.  With everything looking good we approved their application and moved them in.   That is when the trouble began.  About a week after their move into the property we […]
